After the successful first rounder under the Geothermal Development Facility (GDF) for Latin America, the 2nd call for Expressions of Interests will be opening on December 1, 2017.
Pre-expression of interest sign-up is already open.
The following countries are eligible for consideration within the Andean Region: Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and Perú. Within Central America, eligible countries are: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua.
The GDF will provide nonrecourse grants for early geothermal-exploration surface studies and contingency grants for exploration/confirmation drilling.
