In a press release published last month, the SREP Sub-Committee approved a USD 8.55 million in SREP grant funding for the proposal entitled, Armenia: Geothermal Exploratory Drilling Project, submitted by the Government of Armenia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).
The SREP Sub-Committee requests the Government of Armenia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development to take into account comments made by the Sub-Committee members and agreements reached during the decision making process, during the further development of the project.
