In its quarterly reporting, New Zealand based Mighty River Power has not only released financial data, but also proudly announced that its geothermal plants have been available for 98% of the quarter ending December 31, 2015.
This strong geothermal performance, so MRP, represents the “highest-ever quarter of geothermal generation, up 12% on the prior comparable period (pcp), to 728 GWh.
