Italian Turboden has shared a fantastic overview video on the 17.5 MW geothermal power plant the company built for Geoen- MB Holding in Croatia.
The Velika Ciglena project, exploits steam and hot water at 170°C to produce electricity to feed the local power grid. Moreover, the company designed and manufactured a unique single turbine of 17.5 MW electrical power and, thanks to the flexibility of the ORC system, the plant grants a highly efficient behaviour in all the operation conditions.
The plant started operation in late 2018, as we reported at the time.
