The webinar will provide a technical and hands-on overview of commissioning activities in geothermal power plants, drawing on Exergy’s experience from international projects. The key topics to be covered will include:
- The role of commissioning in ensuring performance, safety, and plant reliability
- Structuring the process: pre-commissioning, cold tests, hot tests, and performance tests
- Managing interfaces between EPC, O&M teams, and the final client
- Lessons learned from the field: common challenges and practical solutions
- The evolving role of the commissioning engineer in today’s geothermal industry
With a degree and a Master’s in Energy Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, Roberto Evangelista has developed strong expertise in the modelling and analysis of energy systems. For over a year, he has been working at Exergy as a Commissioning Engineer, where he is responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, and operational management of energy plants.
