Carlo oversees the content, develops editorial plans, contributes to strategic decisions, and provides support for the other ventures of ThinkGeoEnergy. He currently handles content research, article writing, support for cross-platform content, our webinars and engagement with customers and clients.
Carlo has a background in Chemical Engineering and has worked as a geothermal geochemist for more than 6 years prior to joining ThinkGeoEnergy. He is skilled in production and exploration geochemistry, geothermal exploration, project management, and engineering.

Samerah is the creative force behind ThinkGeoEnergy’s successful social media platforms and multimedia content. Through her efforts, ThinkGeoEnergy has been able to reach out to a wider community in innovative and engaging ways.
Samerah has a background in Sanitary Engineering and has more than 4 years of experience in the field of Quality, Health, and Safety in engineering firms. She is skilled in communications, quality systems, regulatory compliance, and multimedia works.

Türkiye
Merve Uytun is the editor of Jeotermal Haberler and the regional manager of ThinkGeoEnergy for Türkiye. She currently handles content research, writing of articles, engagement on social media, and leads the sales process for advertisements on the page.
Merve has worked as a geological engineer for about 10 years in the public and private sectors. She is skilled in GIS, groundwater, and Geothermal. She took part in the press and broadcast media, congress and training activities of the Chamber of Izmir Geological Engineers and various NGOs.

Colombia
Oscar is the editor of PiensaGeotermia and the regional manager of ThinkGeoEnergy for the Spanish-speaking market. He currently handles content research, writing of articles, engagement on social media, and leads the sales process for advertisements on the page.
Oscar has years of experience covering the geothermal sector across Latin America, Iberia, and global markets, building partnerships and delivering Spanish-language market communication.

A Geophysics graduate from the University of Indonesia, he brings strong analytical and leadership experience, recognized for academic excellence. Ruben’s expertise spans energy policy, renewables, mining, oil and gas, and market development. He has led strategic initiatives in large organizations and conducted impactful research across academia, government, and industry, advancing knowledge and innovation in the energy transition.

Alexander leads ThinkGeoEnergy’s strategic direction, research design, and partnership development. A global geothermal strategist and thought leader, he brings nearly two decades of experience in market intelligence, strategic advisory, and sector development. He founded ThinkGeoEnergy in 2008 to drive data transparency and visibility for the global geothermal sector. A former investment banker focused on geothermal energy, he has since worked with industry clients, investors, and institutions on market strategy and policy. Alexander served as President of the International Geothermal Association (2016–2020) and continues to advise public and private stakeholders on advancing geothermal as a core pillar of the energy transition.
