Arizona, USA to hold input session for Geothermal Working Group

The Geothermal Working Group under the Arizona Energy Promise Taskforce will be holding a dedicated input session to gather feedback from key geothermal industry players on the opportunities to harness the geothermal potential in the State of Arizona in the USA. This event is by invitation only and is intended for members of the geothermal industry. The session will be held on 18 December 2025, 1:00-3:00 PM MST in Phoenix, Arizona.

Those who are interested in participating, please contact Kayla Lucero-Matteucci, Manager of Finance in the Office of Resiliency, at klucero-matteucci@az.gov for the event details. While there will be a virtual option, in-person attendance is strongly preferred.

On November 2025, Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs launched the Arizona Energy Promise Taskforce with the goal of strengthening energy development across Arizona. The Taskforce includes a Geothermal Working Group, which will examine opportunities for the state to harness its geothermal potential.
