Call for Abstracts – SPE Africa Geothermal Workshop; Nairobi, Kenya; 20-21 July 2026

Abstracts are now being accepted for the SPE Africa Geothermal Workshop 2026, taking place at the Fairmont The Norfolk Hotel, in Nairobi, Kenya on 20-21 July 2026, under the organization of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Africa Region.

The SPE Africa Geothermal Workshop aims to be a premier technical gathering dedicated to advancing geothermal energy development across the continent. As Africa accelerates efforts toward sustainable and diversified energy systems, geothermal resources present a unique opportunity for reliable, low-carbon power generation. This workshop aims to bring together experts, researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals to share insights, innovations, and solutions that will shape the future of geothermal energy in Africa.

Professionals, academics, and students who are contributing to the growth of geothermal exploration, development, production, and integrated energy systems are hereby invited to submit abstracts for the event. Authors with relevant technical experience, field case studies, emerging technologies, or strategic insights are encouraged to submit their work for consideration.
