ENDE updates on geothermal development in Bolivia at recently held GEOLAC event

During the recently concluded GEOLAC geothermal conference in Mexico, Patricia Claros, interim head of Bolivian power company ENDE, provided details on development efforts of the country on its pilot project in Laguna Colorada.

With a newly opened tender for a geothermal power plant and drilling services for the Laguna Colorada geothermal project in Bolivia, things clearly are heating up in the country.

During the recently concluded GEOLAC geothermal conference in Mexico, details were shared on development in the country by Patricia Claros (interim head of ENDE).

In its geothermal development efforts, Bolivia focuses on the Laguna Colorada geothermal project, located in the Department of Potosí, the Campo Sol de Mañana. It is located 300 km from the Salar de Uyuni and a geographic height of 4,900 meters above sea level.
