In a recent request for expressions of Interest, the Commonwealth of Dominica in the Caribbean to “create the appropriate policy environment, which will lead to the development of a flourishing manufacturing sector and to Dominica becoming a sub regional centre for manufacturing in the OECS region.”
This expression of interest is motivated by the recent development and expansion on the investment both by private and through government in geothermal energy in the area.
By fostering geothermal, a reliable, affordable and sustainable energy source is established that will allow the renaissance of the manufacturing sector in the caribbean area and jump-start the economy.
