As previously reported here on ThinkGeoEnergy, Indonesia has announced an increase in the electricity feed-in-tariffs for geothermal projects in the country.
As a result Pertamina and other companies are confident development will pick up. In a recent news piece the different feed-in-tariff pricing for the various regions of Indonesia are given.
“Based on data from the Ministry of Energy, the plan the government will establish feed in tariffs for geothermal in Sumatra for $ 0.10 / kWh, Java, Madura and Bali for $ 0.11 / kWh, South Sulawesi amounted to $ 0.12 / kWh, North Sulawesi at $ 0.13 / kWh, NTB and NTT of $ 0.15 sen / kWh and the last in the Moluccas and Papuans for $ 0.17 / kWh.”
