Geothermal & Power Masterclass, site visit Wayang Windu, Oct. 5-7. 2017
A geothermal power masterclass will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia October 5-7, 2017 with a site visit to the Wayang Windu geothermal power plant by Star Energy following the course.
Energy Nusantara and INAGA (Indonesia Geothermal Association) with the support of DG New Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) of Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) and Star Energy, will be conducting Geothermal and Power MasterClass with Site Visit to Wayang Windu Geothermal Plant on 5-7 October 2017.
Program:
- Introduction to Geothermal Industry – The history of Geothermal industry in Indonesia, geothermal ocnept and mapping the potnetial geothermla neeryg in Indonesia, the up to date regulation and business opportunity in Indonesia.
- Geothermal System & technology – Geothermal system & characteristics in Indonesia, including the development stages, what’s the key success to be a successful geothermal program, such as how to apply proper exploration, exploitation, construction, power plant development until the production and monitoring, and operations.
- Power plant engineering – including generation, transmission, distribution process
- Geothermal business scheme – business scheme of geothermal power plant including economic valuation, power economics & project risks, anticipated financial closure, financing scheme including project finanincing stages & PPA in geothermal energy.
- Sharing the Experience of Wayang Windu geothermal power project – success story of Wayang Windu
