GRC announces $15,000 in grants and scholarships for 2014

The Geothermal Resources Council has announced the availability of a total of $15,000 in grants and awards to be awarded to 6 students in 2014.

At this year’s GRC Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada, the organization’s President announced that grants would be expanded from $5,000 in 2013 to $15,000 for 2014.

To qualify for one of these awards a student must be a GRC member (student memberships are only $5 per year) and must meet the award-specific requirements listed below. Selection of recipients will be based upon a variety of factors, including the individual’s academic record, student activities, geothermal industry experience, and career goals.

Applications must be received by April 4, 2014 to be considered. Successful recipients will be notified by May 2, 2014.
