British development firm GT Energy has now hired SLR Consulting to help on securing planning permission for the geothermal heating project in Manchester, UK.
The project plans to drill two 3,200 meter deep wells, that will produce hot water used for a district heating system.
So this is the next step in a rather interesting project in the UK.
