In an interview with key players in the European Union looking at deriving Lithium from geothermal brine, the European Geothermal Energy Council interviewed Albert Genter, Deputy Manager of ES Géothermie in Alsace/ France and Horst Kreuter of Vulcan Energie Ressourcen in Baden-Wuerttemberg/ Germany.
Both companies are developing projects in the Upper Rhine Graben on either sides of the French-German border.
