Job: Geothermal Drilling Manager, ACWA Power – 12 month project, Turkey

ACWA Power is seeking to fill the position of “Geothermal Drilling Manager (12 Months- Project Termed)” for its Geothermal Exploration & Power plant Project in Nev?ehir, Turkey.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the process drill rig operations & service companies.
• Preparing / Reviewing technical specifications as well as technically supporting the tender & contract period.
• Scheduling the drilling cementing, mud & acidizing programs by coordinating with consultants.
• Managing the drilling & test activities from drill rig mobilization till demobilization of well site.
• Reviewing / Commenting on well tests.( Pressure build up, static, dynamic, water loss, re-injection tests).
• Preparing the feasibility reports for wellsite .
• Coordinating the wellsite preparation activities prior to mobilization of the drill rig.
• Supporting the procurement & logistics activities.
• Following the operators and wellsite contractors in technical & commercial perspective through their contractual obligations.
• Liaising between Site & Head office as a decision maker of the wellsite.
• Reviewing / checking all activities on wellsite by forecasting the risk & problems.
• Coordinating with the local authorities to perform the legal requirements.
• Leading the wellsite team to work in a safety culture through HSE rules.
