Job – Geothermal Technical Project Monitor/ Engineer, U.S.

Boston Government Services is seeking to fill the position of Geothermal Technical Project Monitor/ Engineer to support the U.S. DOE’s Geothermal Technologies Office based in either Golden, CO or Washington, DC.

Boston Government Services, LLC is seeking to fill a position for a Geothermal Technical Project Monitor/ Engineer. The position is located in either Golden, CO or Washington, DC.

The Geothermal Technical Project Monitor/Engineer will support the Department of Energy (DOE) office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) in project management activities including, but not limited to, Funding Opportunity Announcements, project management and technical support for competitively-selected cooperative agreements.

Position will directly support projects in the Geothermal Technologies Office (GTO) in scientific, engineering, and technical analyses.  The position will primarily support GTO’s Low Temperature and Coproduced Resources portfolio. This research focuses on improving the technologies and overall efficiency of low-temperature (below 300°F) geothermal systems and expanding their utility through demonstration opportunities—facilitating near-term development of innovative geothermal technologies in geographically diverse areas of the country. Expertise in geothermal energy systems, hybrid energy systems, and/or energy storage projects is strongly desired.
