Ormat Technologies has ordered 10.8 MW photovoltaic (PV) modules, which will be installed near Ormat’s geothermal power plant in the Imperial Valley in California.
Power produced will be sold under a 20 year Power Purchase Agreement by Imperial Irrigation District.
This seems to be a stand-alone installation and not be connected to the geothermal plant in a hybrid installation.
