Nominations are now being accepted for the PIVOT 2023 Five on Fire awards that recognizes geothermal champions, risk takers, and pioneers who are challenging the status quo, engaging new minds, inspiring others to act, and causing chain reactions that are taking geothermal exponential.
Nominations can be submitted via this online form. The deadline for nominations is July 21, 2023.
This is a global search for nominations across all geothermal disciplines and entity types. Self nominations are not accepted. Nominations for those making dramatic local impact are encouraged, and will be considered with equal weight as those who have achieved global presence.
Previous years’ Five on Fire awardees include inspiring innovators and geothermal entrepreneurs who are rapidly building our geothermal future – exponentialists like Carlos Araque of Quaise Energy, Sarah Jewett of Fervo Energy, Cindy Taff of Sage Geosystems, Kirsten Maria of DEEP Earth Energy, and ThinkGeoEnergy’s very own Alexander Richter.
The Five on Fire awards is part of the annual PIVOT event – the leading global event of the geothermal anywhere movement, with the mission of bringing together innovative geothermal startups and the oil and gas industry to build the future of geothermal energy. With the theme of “Building Bridges,” PIVOT 2023 will feature partnerships with the International Geothermal Association and Geothermal Rising.
