To develop a heating and cooling systems, for a district heating and cooling and/or to supply heating and cooling to industry, the developer has to find funds for all phases: resource assessment and access, drilling & production, the heat plant and the grids to supply heating and cooling.
After the search of funding for the resources access & development, and the risk mitigation, there is a need of funds for developing or extending the heating and cooling grid.
A main issue for the district heating and cooling systems is the business model, how to secure the demand side ?
So the Funding of heating and cooling infrastructures has to be secured.
