With the recent doubling of its support to the country of Armenia, the World Bank also includes a US$ 1.5 million grant for conducting investigations on geothermal energy.
The first phase of the Geothermal Project in Armenia intends to support the feasibility of exploratory drilling of the site with high geothermal potential. Components are 1.
