TM Geothermal Operation PLC that has been on the move to produce geothermal power in Arsi Ethiopia for the past years. TMGO plans the development of an initial 50 MW in power generation capacity with the EPC contract awarded to Mitsubishi Corporation and SEPCO Electric Power Construction Co. The deal has an estimated value of USD 100 million.
It is expected that construction of the power plant should be completed within the next two years.
